Africa's Rarest Tea, RTK Handcrafted Purple Tea

Handcrafted Purple Tea“RTK Handcrafted Purple Tea” This is the rarest tea in Africa, bar none! Some have described this tea to be similar in appearance to a "Dan Cong" which is a very old tea with a history that dates back to 900 years ago. The tea plants are untruncated trees that rise tall and straight with branches that open out like an umbrella."

Royal Tea Of Kenya Partners With Many Hopes Charity

Many Hopes

Royal Tea of Kenya is very proud to announce a newly formed partnership with a wonderful charity called Many Hopes. This is an incredible organization whose mission is to provide direct aid to orphaned and abandoned girls in Kenya. The organization locates the girls and provides them with housing, love, education and hope. Royal Tea of Kenya's contribution to the efforts of this noble charity is to provide an exclusive black tea for their fundraising efforts, sourced from small scale farmers in Kenya.

Principal owners Joy Njuguna and Shirlene Davis applaud the efforts of organizations like Many Hopes that invest in the future of Kenyan children, and this charity spoke directly to their hearts.

“We had to get involved when we heard about this amazing charity, because it’s all about giving back to the next generation,” says Joy.

With her extensive background of working with marginalized women in crisis in America, Shirlene Davis was equally excited about the partnership. “I wanted the Kenyan girls to know that we care and want to support their dreams.”
